How is a Pet or Animal Cremated?
A human is cremated by being placed into a crematorium, and through extreme heat the body reduces to small bone fragments. A pet cremation works the exact same way. The chamber then heats up and the body reduces to a substance that resembles ashes but in fact is small, light colored bone fragments. Depending on the size of your animal or pet, it can take up to several hours for the thermal process from start to finish. Anything metal will have to be removed from your pet including a collar or any surgical pins before being placed in a crematory but we will work with you if there is something you would like to include in the cremation process.
