William C. "Bill" Adamson

William C. "Bill" Adamson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026, at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA, at the age of 83. Born on January 27, 1943, in the Bronx, NY, William was a dedicated laborer for many years and was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his family. William cherished spending time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories during family outings at Stoevers Dam, South Hills Park, and Middlecreek, as well as on family vacations at Knoebels. He found joy in simple pleasures such as bowling, fishing, playing shuffleboard, and taking long walks with his dog. A devoted member of St. Gertrude's Club and the Maennerchor, William was well-regarded for his warm spirit and kind heart.William leaves behind his loving spouse, Carolyn F. (Cree) Adamson; his cherished children, George J. Adamson, Karriane D. Adamson, Billie-Jean M. Martin and husband Steven, Amanda N. George and husband Stephen; grandchildren David Mooney Jr., Trever Armpriester, Austin Martin, Landen Martin, Makyna Martin, and Trenten George, as well as great-grandchild Kloe Stager. William's brother, Joseph Adamson, Jr., also mourns his loss; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Elizabeth (Dahse) Adamson; siblings Elizabeth Keller and Eleanor Evans. Viewing will be on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 from 6-8 PM at Christman's Funeral Home. Funeral services for William C. Adamson will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 11:00AM. A public viewing will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
