Thomas J. Rhoads

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas J. "Tom" Rhoads, who left this world on August 14, 2026, in Wellspan GSH. Born on April 8, 1951, to the late Walter and Josephine (Heverling) Rhoads in Lebanon, PA, Tom lived a full and vibrant life, cherished by family and friends alike. Tom was a dedicated machine operator in Bethlehem Steel, known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Beyond his professional life, he was an avid hunter and enjoyed woodworking, creating special pieces that will be treasured by his loved ones. For 35 years, he was an active member of the Myerstown Jaycees, contributing to his community and building lasting relationships. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (Shindel) Rhoads; his son, Matthew Rhoads, and daughter-in-law, Sara Rhoads; his daughter, Ashley Hartman; along with his cherished grandchildren Olivia, Jozalynn, Cardyn, Piper, and Remington; and great-grandson Ronin, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
