He was a devoted father to his only daughter, Amber, and took great pride in passing down his love of tinkering and problem solving. Steven was a kind and compassionate person with a penchant for bad jokes that could brighten anyone's day. He is survived by his loving daughter Amber Hlavaty of Lebanon, and grandchildren Adley and Emeric. Steven was predeceased by his brother Jerry Hlavaty.
