Shane J. Geist

Shane J. Geist, age 54, passed away on June 1, 2026, in Lebanon, PA. Shane was born on December 31, 1971 in Lebanon, PA to Ruth and Terry Geist. He was a 1990 graduate of Lebanon Senior High School. Shane also served in the United States Air Force from 1998 to 2001. Shane was an avid sports fan having played football, baseball, basketball, and volleyball. He could often be found cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, New York Mets, or Boston Celtics with his beloved dog, Emmi Smith Geist. The skills he acquired in the military evolved into a passion for restoring his Jeep. Shane is survived by parents Ruth and Terry Geist; brothers Michael Geist partner of Michelle Allwein, Steve Geist partner of Audrey Coyle, and Robert Geist spouse of Lisa Geist; and sister Kearstin Geist fiancée of Marc Donmoyer. Shane is preceded in death by brother Timothy Geist.
