Ruby Pfister

Ruby I. Hinkel Pfister, 91, of Lebanon PA was called home by her Heavenly Father on July 24, 2018, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones.
Born March 5, 1927 in Warren PA, to the late George H and Mary R Hinkel, Ruby was raised lovingly by Amanda and Harry DePugh of Mt. Aetna. Ruby was married to Leonard L. Pfister in 1959, and they enjoyed a loving marriage until his passing in 1988. Ruby was a very attentive, loving, and dedicated mother and wife. She loved being involved in her church - the Lebanon Bible Fellowship Church, where she made sure to greet anyone she didn't recognize, providing a warm and welcoming presence. Ruby kept her sense of humor and her joy for living throughout her last days. She was a caring neighbor and would do anything to help those in need.
Ruby is survived by daughter Tammy Summers of Lebanon; Ronald and his wife Karen Pfister of Annville; grandchildren Rosa Peiffer, Nathan (Abby) Pfister, Nicholas (Katie) Pfister, Timothy (Melissa) Summers, Bethany (Brenton)Weidman; great-grandchildren Felicity and Braxton; and several cousins including Phyllis Caskie and Doris Kohr, nieces and nephews.
Ruby is predeceased by her parents; husband; beloved daughters Lori Ann(1960) and Mary Peiffer (2006); siblings Abby Harris, Charles Hinkel, Jean Edris, Richard Hinkel.
Ruby loved people unconditionally and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 with viewing starting at 10:00 at Lebanon Bible Fellowship Church, 1635 Mill Road, Lebanon PA 17042.
