He was born on Wednesday, May 02, 1945 to the late Ferrol Swope and Evelyn Swope nee Miller in Lebanon. He was a member of Zoar Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked as a cook at Esther's Restaurant. He was a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School in 1963 and was a memebr of the Perseverance Fire Company. Ron enjoyed art.
Surviving are brother Steven B. spouse of Nancy Swope; nephews Mark Swope and Paul Swope.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Zoar Evangelical Lutheran Church, 560 Freeport Road, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the church.
Burial will be at Zoar Lutheran Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
