Ray Layser

Ray A. Layser, 90, of Lebanon, died on Thursday, April 02, 2015 at Manor Care, Linden Village.
He was born on Monday, April 28, 1924 to the late Joseph H. Layser and Mazie H. Layser nee Hertzler in Richland. He was a veteran of the Army in World War II and enjoyed being around his family and friends. Ray like baseball and golf. He was a member of the VFW Post #23 and American Legion.
Surviving are sons Mark A. spouse of Erin S. Layser, East Petersburg, Ray A. Layser II, Selinsgrove; grandchildren Andrew Layser and Eliza Layser; sister Mazie E. Weaver, Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife F. Marie Layser nee McConaghey; brother Joseph W. Layser.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 07, 2015 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Inurnment will be on Tuesday, April 07, 2015 at 12:30 PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors.
