Peter Szalku

Peter F. Szalku, 64, of Pine Grove, died on Tuesday, October 04, 2016 at VA Medical Center.
He was born on Friday, September 05, 1952 to the late Frank Szalku and Nancy Szalku nee Kostick in Philadelphia. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and was a veteran of the Navy in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a member of the Pine Grove American Legion.
Surviving are wife Tammy M. Szalku nee Natale; daughter Heather Szalku; step brothers James Burdess, Robert Burdess, Joseph Burdess, Michael Burdess; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Frank Szalku and Ray Szalku; half brother Steven Burdess.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
