It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary A. "Mouse" Shultz, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on June 23, 2026, at the age of 84. Mary was born on October 2, 1941, in Lebanon PA, to the late Daniel and Martha (Reist) Firestine where she created cherished memories with her family and friends.Mary graduated from Lebanon High School and later Lebanon County Career and Technology Center in May 1997, earning her certification in Office Technologies. She dedicated many years to her career, retiring from Walmart where she worked in the health and beauty department. Known for her warm spirit and nurturing nature, Mary was affectionately regarded as the "mom to the neighborhood kids."A woman of many interests, Mary had a passion for flowers and plants, and she found joy in the beauty of nature. Music played a significant role in her life, with Elvis Presley being one of her favorite artists. In 1957, she had the special honor of being a guest on American Bandstand, an experience she fondly reminisced about. Mary cherished her visits to Longwood Gardens and New York City during the Christmas season, where she enjoyed the festive sights and sounds.Mary is survived by her loving daughter Joan (Shultz) Smith and husband Dennis Smith her son Robert L. Shultz, Jr.; her siblings Kay (Firestine) Pearson and late husband Marvin, Beth (Firestine) Leffler and husband Sterling, James Firestine; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Robert L. Shultz; siblings William Firestine, Bruce Firestine, David Hammer and Barbara Hoffer.Viewing will be on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with services starting at 11:00.
