Mary A. Fortna

Heaven has a very special angel. Mary Alice Fortna, born November 21, 1937, passed away peacefully at home. She brought a smile to everyone she met, and was well loved by everyone she met. A tireless worker and faithful friend, she will be missed forever. Mary is survived by sons Scott Via (Joan) and Jeff Via; sister Betty Buechner; her beloved grandchildren Trevor, Casey, Leigh, Nikki, and Jenna and great-granddaughter Lilith; and stepchildren Carl, Dave, John, and Michelle Fortna. She is predeceased by husbands John Via and John Fortna; and sisters Alice, Ann, and Sara. Mary loved her doggies, so in lieu of flowers, please donate to your local SPCA.
