She was born on Wednesday, August 19, 1925 to the late Allen F. Beard, Sr. and Elma J. Beard nee Fischer in Lebanon. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and worked at Bell Atlantic. Mary Lou enjoyed crossword puzzles, cross stitch, crocheting, hockey and the Phillies.
Surviving are 7 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Jane Maxwell; brother Allen F. Beard, Jr.
