Marie B. Chaney, a beloved mother and cherished grandmother, passed away at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA, on October 25, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on September 4, 1940, in Lebanon, PA, Marie dedicated her life to her family, serving as a devoted homemaker who found joy in caring for her loved ones.Marie is survived by her daughters, Jenise Boltz and Christine Chadwick; her seven grandchildren; and an incredible legacy of 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom will remember her warmth, generosity, and the many fond memories they shared together. She was preceded in death by husband Leroy F. Boltz; daughter Rose Carl; son Dennis Boltz; parents Russell and Gertrude (Kohr) Light; siblings Sterling Light, Sandra DeHart, and John Light.A talented craftswoman, Marie had a passion for beadwork, crochet, and baking, activities that allowed her to express her creativity and bring joy to her family.
