Mae Louise Peffley, 78, of Lebanon, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at her home.
She was born on Thursday, June 24, 1937 to the late Robert H. Greeley and Ruth E. Greeley nee Kilmoyer in Lebanon. She was a member of Avon Zion United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School in 1955 and worked for the Steffy Shoe Factory and later retired as a custodian from Dairy Queen East. She was a charter member of South Lebanon Lioness Club where she was president 6 times and earned the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. Mae Louise was on the alter guild for 25 years and enjoyed reading, word search puzzles and the dice game. She loved sharing time with her family, friends and grandchildren.
Surviving are children James J. Peffley, Jr. spouse of Kenneth A. Reese, Donald W. Peffley, Jodi L. spouse of Anthony B. Kuzo, Brian D. spouse of Heather J. Peffley; grandchildren Nathan, Anthony, Caleb, Alexander, Nicholas, Joshua, Noah; life partner Junior Rexrode. She was preceded in death by husband James J. Peffley, Sr; grandchildren Hope Catherine Peffley, Zachariah Benjamin Kuzo; brothers Robert Greeley, Earl Greeley, Walter Greeley; sister Marian Peters.
Viewing will be on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Avon Zion United Methodist Church, 1205 E. Old Cumberland Street, Lebanon with viewing starting at 10:00AM.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
