Larry Gene Mountz

Larry Gene Mountz passed away on Saturday, February 28th at the age of 90. He was born June 19th, 1935 in Richland, PA to the late Roy and Florence Mountz. Larry graduated from Lebanon High School in 1953 and served in the Army in Germany from 1958-1960 and in Fort Knox from 1962-1963. Larry married Lorraine Mathes in 1964 and son Brad was born in 1965. Larry worked at Sheridan Furnace and Keener Electric. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding horses and motorcycles. He loved watching Rodeo events in his later years. Larry is preceded in death by son Brad, wife Lorraine, and sister Lucetta Pennypacker nee Mountz. He was a beloved Uncle, Great-Uncle, and Great-Great-Uncle. His warm personality, sense of humor, and quick wit meant he was always ready with a joke, a smile, and a laugh that was contagious. Young and old enjoyed his company and he will be deeply missed. Services will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Monday, March 9th at 11:30am.
