John Heller Null, age 93, passed away on May 19, 2026, at his home in Lebanon, PA. John Null was born on March 8, 1933 in Lebanon, PA, to Richard and Bessie Null. After completing high school, John was a carpenter for much of his life, attaining the title of master. He contributed to the construction of numerous area landmarks, including the Lebanon VA Medical Center, and WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. After more than fifteen years in the industry, John moved into a new career as a pattern maker. John married Yvonne "Bonnie" Null, and he goes forth in glory now to join her in the hereafter. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gun repair. He was known for having a great, subtle sense of humor, and his loved ones tenderly describe him as having been quiet but strong. John loved the Lord Jesus, and he was deeply invested in his faith community at St. Mark's United Church of Christ. He spent many years volunteering with the church's Pine Acres Campground, various boards and committees, and-toward the end of his life-as a greeter at the Sunday services. John also served his country with the Navy from 1951 to 1955, during the Korean War. John is survived by sister Nancy Smith; siblings-in-law Annette Heagy, Cliff (Elizabeth) Roland, Jr., and Suzette (Michael) Arnold; and several nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by wife Yvonne Null; and siblings Richard Null, Jr., Kenneth Null, and Faye Firestone. The family wishes to thank companies and individuals who showed love to John throughout the years, including but not limited to: Lebanon VA Medical Center; Seniors Helping Seniors; WellSpan Dixon Foundation Health Center; Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging, for providing Meals on Wheels for John; and, last but not least, the staff ladies at the Cedar Grill. Rest assured that John is doing "fine as frog's hair" up in heaven now. The service for Mr. John Null will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in John's name to St. Mark's UCC.
