He was born on Sunday, May 03, 1931 to the late Monroe Yingst and Susan Yingst nee Kline in Lebanon. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a veteran of the Army in the Korean Conflict. James was a member of Fraternal Order Eagles #472, Orioles Club and Annville American Legion.
Surviving are sons Todd A. spouse of Shelly Yingst, Scott B. Yingst; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Eleanor Yingst nee Speraw; sons James B. Yingst, Stanley Kohl.
Viewing will be on Thursday, June 09, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 09, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
