Hilda P. Williams

Hilda P. Williams, 101 years old, passed away on September 11, 2026, in Lebanon, PA. Hilda Williams was born on November 17, 1924 in Dauphin County, PA, to Morris and Dora Leese. Hilda was happily retired for quite some time from a career as a seamstress. Hilda married her first love, Lawrence A. Henning, who died at the tender age of 24 while serving in World War II. Hilda found love again later in life with her longtime companion, Amos Williams. Hilda was best known as a lover of God and of life, who made the most of simple moments where she could stroll around flea markets and yard sales. In her younger years, Hilda enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, and visiting with friends and relatives. Hilda prayed and read her Bible every day, and she carried a cross in her pocket as a reminder of what our Lord gave for her. Hilda is survived by several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and -nephews, and great-grandnieces and -nephews. Hilda is preceded in death by husband Lawrence Henning; son Ronald Williams, Sr.; grandson Ronald Williams, Jr.; companion Amos Williams; ex-husband and her son's father Harvey Williams; eight siblings; and a number of cousins. The service for Mrs. Hilda Williams will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., with the visitation hour to begin at 10:00 AM. Memorial donations can be made in Hilda's name to the Humane Society of Lebanon County.
