Helen Gass

Helen G. Gass, 91, of Lebanon, died on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born on Wednesday, February 2, 1927 to the late Lowell M. Gassert and Mabel E. Gassert nee Brown in Lebanon. She was a member of Lebanon Church of the Brethren. Helen worked for several years for the No-Mend Hoisiery and over 50 years as a banquet server at the Friendship Fire Company. She was a founding member of the Friendship Fire Co. Ladies Auxilary and a life member of the Mt. Zion Fire Co. Ladies Auxilary. She also enjoyed gardening and country music.
Surviving are sons Jay Gass spouse of Nancy Alwine-Gass, Scott R. Gass, Dale Gass spouse of Mary Janisse Gass, Brian Gass spouse of Amy Gass, Bruce Alan Gass; grandchildren Christina Wagner, Ryan McMurry spouse of Jessica McMurry, Gregory Gass, Melissa Byrne spouse of Terry Byrne, Christopher Gass and fiance Lauren Fritz, Delaney Gass, Reagan Gass; great grandchildren Grace Wagner, Matthew Wagner, Nathan Wagner, Everett McMurry. She was preceded in death by husband Raymond Gass.
Viewing will be on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lebanon Church of the Brethren, 400 Locust Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, following the service.
