Florence V. Firestone, 92, of Myerstown, died on Tuesday, October 03, 2017 at StoneRidge Town Center.
She was born on Sunday, August 23, 1925 to the late Harry Long and Mabel Long nee Schrum in Lebanon. She was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church and retired as a garment worker. Florence had worked 25 years for Susan Garment Company, 25 years for Milsan Mills, and 12 years for S. Kantor Company.
Surviving are daughter Barbara A. Stoe, Greencastle; grandchildren Douglas Shifflet, MT, Corey Shifflet, Greencastle, James Long, Lebanon, Vickie Long, Lebanon; step grandchild Amanda Stoe; several great grandchildren; several siblings She was preceded in death by son James H. Long; grandchild Michael Shifflet; brother Richard Fink; sister Helen Fink.
Viewing will be on Monday, October 09, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, October 09, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
