Elizabeth (Betty) Fischer, 88, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Fischer, Sr., born in Mt. Aetna, PA on Feruary 22, 1929, Betty was the daughter of Cleveland and Emma (Speicher) Heffelfinger. Her greatest joy in life was her family and loved spending every minute she could with them. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Betty loved to cook and bake and share with all who was around her, it always put a smile on her face.
She was the loving mother of and is survived by Jospeh A. Fischer, Jr., husband of Patti, Lebanon, Jane E. Strawser, Lebanon, Frederick R. Fischer husband of Mae, Cleona, Timothy L. Fischer companion of Sandra Bordlemay, Lebanon, Linda S Fleisher wife of Michael, Sr., Lebanon, Scott A. Fischer, Lebanon, Sherri Rodkey wife of Duane, Lebanon. Loving grandmother of and is survived by Carl R. Conners, Jr., Douglas A. Conners, Michael P. Fleisher, Jr., Ryan P. Conners, Matthew C. Fleisher, Bobbi J. Pich, Charissa L. Nordall, Katelyn M. Nordall, Rayna B. Fischer, Blake E. Fischer, Jamie Fischer, Lindsay Fischer, Jospeh Fischer, Patrick Fischer. Loving great grandmother of and is survived by Brittany, Jesse, Courtney, Joshua, Sean, Kylie, Mason, Alanna, Aanya and Akai.She was preceded in death by her twin brother Russell Heffelfinger, her brothers Woodrow Heffelfinger and Eugene Heffelfinger, her sisters Elsie Weidman, Annie Klick and Helen Lutz.
Viewing will be on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with viewing starting at 10:00AM.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
