E. Paul Cokely, Jr., 69, of Myerstown, died on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Spang Crest Manor.
He was born on Friday, March 26, 1948 to the late Elmer Paul Cokely and Mary Cokely nee Morgan in Danville, VA. He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and was a veteran of the Army in Vietnam.  He was a graduate of Lebanon High School class of 1966 and an active athlete in basketball, baseball and golf. He worked in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 12 years finishing at the Health and Welfare Headquarters.  After taking early retirement and taking additional training, he completed 400 hours of internship he wrote proposed opinions for A Judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.  He was designated his third Law Clerk.  He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and practiced law in Lebanon area.  He enjoyed hunting small game, trout fly-fishing, cross country skiing and winter camping adventures.  He participated in tennis and the Lebanon hard court tournaments and Mt. Gretna men's tournaments.  He was an active member of the PA Bar Assn. and member of the Susquehanna Blind Association.
Surviving are sons Daniel P. Cokely and J. Travis Cokely.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 06, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grace United Church of Christ, 1000 S. 5th Ave., Lebanon.
Memorial services will be on Monday, November 06, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the church.
Inurnment will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, with full military honors, following the service.
