Dorothy Mary Hadley (Haig), wife of Bradford D. Hadley, went home to be with her Lord January 22, 2017 at her residence at Harbor Place, Port St. Lucie, FL.
She was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, August 6, 1925 to Wilson S. and Edith Haig. After living in Pennsylvania for over 40 years, she lived in Boca Raton Florida, Lighthouse Point, Hobe Sound, and Port St. Lucie. She was a night nurse for most of her career. Dorothy was very musically inclined, singing in both choirs in Lebanon and the Florida Bibletown Church. She had an unusual talent of playing the carpenter’s saw as well as the piano.
She is survived by her husband, Bradford Hadley, her sister, Josephine Sullivan of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, her son, Vernon A. Brown of Pinetta, FL, daughter in law Deborah Brown and granddaughter, Cynthia Brown as well as two nieces, Janice Smith and JoLynn Dean of Lebanon, PA. She was preceded in death by her first husband Vernon A. Brown.
Interment will be held at a later date at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
