Debbie S. Meck

Debbie S. Meck, age 65, passed away on January 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at home in Lebanon, PA. Debbie Meck was born on September 28, 1960, in Aurora, CO, to Delmar and Billie Reider. Debbie obtained her master's degree while advancing in her career as a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Defense Contract Management Agency. Debbie previously served her country with the United States Air Force from 1980 to 1981. Debbie's partner, Tim Meck, cared for her lovingly until the end of her battle with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The couple had two children, Jena Zangaro and Joel Meck. Debbie's faith was vital to her, and she loved volunteering at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church for as long as she was able. Debbie loved nature and the great outdoors, particularly hiking and digging in her garden of vegetables and herbs, along with the occasional burst of sunflowers. She also had an artistic side and took joy in painting. Debbie is survived by her partner, Tim Meck; children Jena (Santino) Zangaro and Joel Meck; and grandson Darren Brumbach. Debbie is preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Reider. Debbie will also be missed by her two cats, Chloe and Maple. Services for Ms. Debbie Meck will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made in Debbie's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
