Charles S. "Bud" Beard, 73, of Lebanon, died on Friday, September 16, 2016 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on Tuesday, February 16, 1943 to the late James H. Beard and Emily Beard Gassert nee Keesey in Lebanon. He attended Kochenderfer's United Methodist Church. He worked as a Journeyman Electrician for I.B.E.W. Local #143 Harrisburg. Bud enjoyed reading, sports,supporting his grandchildren's events and spending time with his beloved cat, Max.
Surviving are wife Patricia A. Beard nee Rhodes; daughters Kimberly J. spouse of Robert Everett, Sherie A. spouse of Randy Fulmer; sons Gregory E. spouse of Lisa Beard, Steven J. spouse of Jolene Beard; grandchildren Stephanie Baird, Kelsey Delaney, Michelle Baird, Christopher spouse of Krista Fulmer, Lauren Fulmer, Samuel Beard, Allison Beard, Dylan Beard, Austin Beard; great grandchildren Landon Delaney, Lucas Fulmer; brother Thomas Gassert; sisters Linda Knorr, Penny Bankes, Diane Adelman. He was preceded in death by brother James A. Beard; sister Jamie Beard.
Viewing will be on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kochenderfer United Methodist Church, 1105 Kochenderfer Road, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the church.
Burial will be at Ebenezer "Covenant" Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
In lieu of lowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kochenderfer United Methodist Church, 1105 Kochenderfer Road, Lebanon, PA 17046.
