He was born on Thursday, November 17, 1955 to Woodrow Walmer and the late Fern Walmer nee Boltz in Lebanon. He retired from PolyOne in quality control. Butch was a past member of Avon Fire Company, helped with the cattle at Wenger's Farm and enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving are wife Denise M. Walmer nee Swoyer; daughter Julie Halpin; son Nathan Walmer; step sons Michael Houser, Matthew Houser; step daughter Michelle Hitz; grandchildren Jacob Hitz, Madeline Houser, Gracie Halpin, Haileigh Walmer, Cara Halpin, Mikayla Walmer, Emalyn Walmer; brothers John Walmer, Dale Walmer.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, January 06, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 06, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
