Karl E. Myrick, 57, of Cleona, died on Friday, April 12, 2019 at his home.
He was born on Saturday, April 29, 1961 to the late Harry E. Myrick, Sr. and Esther P. Myrick nee Blimline in Reading. He enjoyed car races, fixing things and collecting Betty Boop items. He was very generous and always giving things away. He graduated from Dauphin County Technical School in 1979 studying electronics. Karl enlisted in the Air Force after school, serving in Korea, Germany and stateside, and retired honorably after 20 years. After retirement he attended HACC where he earned an Associates Degree in Computer Technology. Karl was very content living the retired life. He loved eating out, going to fairs, farm shows, and expos, and he often visited his mom at Spang Crest. Karl will be sorely missed.
Surviving are his mother, Esther; sisters Debra L. spouse of Lawrence Gesler (College Place, WA) and Lori L. spouse of Mark Manley (Myerstown, PA); and brother Harry E. “Ed” Myrick, Jr. married to Liz (Paradise, PA)
Interment Service to be held on Tues, Apr 30th at 2:30pm out at Ft Indiantown Gap with full military honors.
